Pickleball Club

The House of Commons - MP Andrew Selous asks the big question we have all been waiting for.

About Us

Founded on 16 March 2023, we are a club that encourages exercise within Dunstable and the surrounding areas.

Pickleball clubs provide numerous benefits to the community, including improving physical health, promoting friendship and social connections, and reducing loneliness. By providing a space for people of all ages and abilities to engage in physical activity, pickleball clubs promote a healthy lifestyle and help prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. The low-impact nature of pickleball also makes it accessible to seniors, disabled individuals, and others who may not be able to participate in more strenuous activities.

Beyond physical health benefits, pickleball clubs also provide a sense of community and social connection. Members of the club regularly interact with one another, forming friendships and building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. This creates a supportive and inclusive environment where people feel a sense of belonging and community. Additionally, the social aspect of pickleball can help reduce loneliness, a significant issue in many communities.

Silsoe Hunters have joined forces with Dunstable Hunters. From the 6th November 2023 everything will be run as a partnership.
